Removing Engine from W300

I'm planning on removing a 318 from '66 W300. I don't think my engine hoist will raise the engine high enough to clear the front grill/radiator support. Do I have to remove that entire front piece. It looks like a real pain in the arse, if so. The truck is stock with 9x16 tires, but it sits pretty high. I don't think airing the tires down will help much. Any ideas?
