Checking the bolts after a week is good practice, ...but after about three times the dang things should be snug for keeps!
Rough running and the O2 sensor error could mean that you've got an air leak. How's his tube welds look? I'm guessing on the non CA, 49 state setup since we have so MUCH exteraneous crap on our motors here, ...but did something get knocked lose in the process? An sensor wire or???? Maybe the "gas" is the problem, or did you mean Fuel? Ha! Ha! I had a problem like that on a set of Borla Stainless Headers, stainless doesn't give for the first 75,000 years, so I made a special wrench to save my knuckles, you still may have a "gap" there somewhere that is letting it suck air.
