If that's a 1/2 ton rim, it is not safe on later trucks.

The 1/2 ton rim has a cross section that rides on the outer edge of the brake drum on an M37 and presumably a PW and probably a 3/4 ton WC. Because the rim rides on the brake drum edge, the lugnuts cannot be fully tighened. They may look tight, but they can loosen and then the studs fail.

If it was me, I'd put a chunk of modeling clay on the edge of the drum and seat the rim and tighten the lugnuts. Then remove it and cut the clay and check the cross section. If there is clearance, it's OK.
