jonas...is this a primer coat that you are planning on sanding to smooth out small imperfections...if it is then the spray bombs have very little filling quality (they don't get very thick)...it sands right off, defeating the purpose of using it...i strongly recommend whenever you take something to bare metal use a coat of epoxy primer first...it needs no sanding...then put on two coats of urethane primer...now you have an excellent base that is rust resistant and water proof to put your top coat over...duponts nason line of epoxy is excellent...and auto body master makes a urethane that rivals duponts at half the cost...then apply an acrylic enamel or urethane top coat...do not use lacquer primer or top coat for anything...its just plain out dated...my advise...get to the parts store...hope that i helped
