Hi,
Pull the pan, put a new filter in, adjust the bands, refill and hope for the best. If you feel real ambitious, pull the valve body and go through it, cleaning and making sure the valves are all free. With a little bit of work, you might be able to get the servos out and check the seals also. That's about all you can do with the trans in the truck, if the clutch packs are going south, they'll go in a hurry and then it is rebuild time.
