Last Thanksgiving evening I was wiring my dash for a back-up light. No big deal. As I stepped out up the truck, I slipped. Choosing not to fall on my head, I made a beautiful backwards jump onto the garage floor. Upon landing I felt a really distinct POP. No pain at all. I went to walk....No Foot! I "blew out" my achilles. Had a great time in surgery (minus that cathater thing)Almost 6 months later I was still in a cast.
Today I can once again walk (limp).
Moral...As you say..slow down,take time, think and have fun. Cliff
