"First Gear" replicas

I don't go onto Ebay very often, and was surprised last night after a search for "Dodge Power Wagons" to see the wide variety of logos & themes available on the "First Gear" flat fender scale replicas. Just wondering if it would ever be possible for Dave Butler, or for some type of coordinated group effort to arrive at a "VPW edition?" How does this selection process work, and how much $ would First Gear require before choosing to run production on a new model?
