It's looking like the best weekend will be the weekend of September 21st-22nd. I'm thinking everyone showing up Saturday around noon or later at my place in Cle Elum, WA. I will make reservations a local eatery for dinner or we can have a Cowboy BBQ/ Campfire at the neighbors ranch. If we do the latter, I will need some money from interested parties to buy meat, and it will be potluck for side dishes. My wife makes a really good Apple/Peach pie so we can have that for desert (with ice cream of course!). It will be a full moon out also so a evening trailride may be in order, we'll play it by ear.
Morning will bring breakfast at The Cottage Cafe in town, with plenty of trailer parking. Then off into the mountians for a few hours of driving fire roads, or 4wd trails, as brave as you want to get. We can keep it going as long as everyone likes or come down at a reasonable hour so every one can get on the road.
There is typically plenty of space for lodging as theres 5 or 6 motels in town. e-mail me or call the Cle Elum chamber of Commerce for a list of phone numbers to local inns.
Let me know who is going to make it.
At least 1 serviceable spare tire is required for any vehicle going on the trail rides (Gill!!!).
