Can anyone answer a question for me....I'm trying to identify what gears are in my truck, & judging by the way they feel, I'm suspicious that they're 4.89's. Here's what I've done, I've lifted one wheel, marked the driveshaft & marked the wheel. I turned the driveshaft just less that 2.5 turns to rotate the raised tire 360 degrees.....that sounds like 4.89's doesn't it? If I could read the rotation acurately, 4.89's would need the driveshaft to rotate 2.445 times in order to rotate the wheel once when only one wheel is raised.....am I right?
