As with most things, there are any number of ways to creating a
website. The first order of business would be to find an ISP (Internet
Service Provider) that you like and allows you to put up a webpage. (For
instance, not only do I get email from my ISP, but it allows users to setup
webpages on it's server as part of the package. You just don't have your
own address. Your address is something like www.isp.com/joe_user.)

If you wish your own domain name, your ISP should be able to help getting
you registered. The good thing about having your own domain is that if you
change your ISP, you can just move the domain to a new ISP. The downside is
that it costs money to register and move domains. (Not a ton, but some.)

Speaking of $$$, your ISP will more then likely be happy to take your money
and design and build a site for you. :-)

Once you know where you will be putting things, unless you are conversant
in HTML and cgi, you will need to search around for a website editor. (I
can't recommend any as all my stuff I do directly in the HTML.)

If all you want is static webpages you can create the originals in
something like Micro$oft Word and export to HTML. (A static webpage is akin
to the Introduction on the Power wagon site. A dynamic webpage is like the
forum.)

As to pictures, there are several places on the web that host photo albums
such as the one used by the "Pictures" link on the main Power Wagon page.

Before you begin, sit down and decide on a "look" for your site. This
includes a color scheme and what images such as bullets and separators etc
you want. Once this is done, write up the static pages in word or some
other editor that allows you to export to HTML. This should get you 80-90
percent there. It depends on how much dynamic stuff you want as to how much
work that part would be.

One thing that you should know about websites: THEY NEED MAINTENANCE! If
you have changes, PLEASE make them. Nothing turns people away faster then a
webpage that is a year old that says, "I'll have something up soon."

Hope this helps.

P.S. What parts do you have? :-)
