I thank God every day that I was born with an overactive sense of humor! I have been working 80 hour weeks for several months and have not had time to visit the forums so the first that I new of this was when I got an email from Jason appologizing for an offence that I didn't have a clue about. Thanks to all the friends here on the forum who came to my defence and to MikeC for an excellent explination of how this virus works. I recive at least 4 of these messages per day from people I know ( including Joe Cimoch ) But having been a programmer I realize that they are virus generated and delete them without opening. I have checked my computer and it is clean. As a further precaution I will go back to using my Macintosh for email instead of the IBM clone as there are very few vireses out there designed for it. Jason, Your appology is accepted for two reasons: 1. In my life I have made a far bigger ass of myself than you did with your post, so I can't be self rightious. 2. I get just as inflammed about the spam and virus generated emais I recive. My son tells me that if you use Hotmail they have very efficient filters for eliminating those kinds of emails which might be an option for those who don't have a .com email address.
