OK, you're still going to be hard pressed to put more than a fraction of what an H2 costs into an M37 or PW.

I cannot see how modifying a vehicle to make it more useful is "loosing the flavor". This is the old stock vs conversion argument. If a stock M37 or PW that does 45 mph and hopefully stops suits you, fine. But not everyone wants a museum piece.

I'll be into my 318 V-8 powered, disc braked M37 probably around $5000. That's a tiny fraction of what an H2 costs. OK, I won't be going 80 mph. But it will do 55 mph OK. And if other similarly modified M37's are an indication, it will go places an H2 will never go.

You are right about prices. Perhaps with toys like the H2, some of the pressure on prices in our hobby will ease off.
