The Hummer is not exactly a universally beloved SUV or whatever you want to call it.

Many people see it as a toy only rich people can afford, people with more money than brains. Others can't understand why someone would sink $85 grand into something that can get its butt whupped by a $15K - $20K WDX or an even cheaper M37. Still others see it as the pinnacle of evil socially irresponsible SUVs.

What kind of vehicles were the "flippees" driving? That might give you a clue.
