Anyone got any ideas where I could pick up a 12v to 6v inverter? (or converter?) My truck is 12v, but I'd like to be able to use the original gauges, stepping it down to the old 6v. Radio Shack couldn't help, the local auto parts stores don't carry anything like that, can't seem to find anything in J.C. Whitney's catalog... anyone point me in the right direction? Also, what about the wire from the gas tank sending unit? There's the three posts on the back of the fuel gauge, I'm guessing 6v+ and 6v- and the wire from the tank... any problem with that? Thanks! If I get to keep the truck longer, I might as well be tinkering with it!!
