I have rebuilt these units. It sounds like you need a complete rebuild. If the bore of the main cylinder is not pitted, it can be honed with a standard brake cylinder hone. This will deglaze the cylinder wall and remove minor imperfections. If after honing you discover major pits, you can have the cylinder bored and sleeved. The rebuild kits are available in two packages. One kit is for the cylinder and valve system. The second kit is for the diaphram in the vacuum chamber. Check diaphram before ordering this kit as it is expensive if you do not need it. Look on the hex nut on the end of the main cylinder and there should be a model number. Post number to forum and I will check my list and find the kit numbers if they are on my list. If you disassemble unit have a parts diagram or take pictures, as the unit contains lots of springs and seals, etc. Let me know if I can help. Good luck! Todd
