UPS has a "hands on every package" policy for removing items packed in their trucks...now when I worked there the supervisor showed me the "correct" UPS way of "hands on every package" I was taken over to a semi truck on the dock laided with new DELL computer monitors, Now these were tight packed...you could not wedge a piece of paper into the top box and the top of the semi...now the supervisor proceded to pull the first stack down and as it fell to the ground he touched...repeated as they fell...touched each box...that is the "correct" UPS way of hands on every box. Now I asked "what about damage"???his reply "they are insured"..... Now if more complaints are raised maybe we can change them???
