NV5600 conversion

I am trying to research a new input shaft for an NV5600 I want to put in my '93 Power Ram Cummins 4x4. My local Dodge dealer says the 2001 transmission input shaft is 5066-027-AC. Cost is $522! and none are available. He then told me that this p/n started life as a -AA, then went to -AB and now is -AC. He did find five of the -AA and the price is $540.
Anybody able to cross these numbers to New Venture Gear numbers? Does NVG cut their own or who makes them for NVG?
