M43 vs M37?

I'm thinking about an M43 ambulance and would like to know how it differs from a standard M37 other than the ambulance body. The one I'm considering is supposedly stock except for a 12V alternator electrical system. Are the wheelbase, frame, and suspension the same as an M37? Any differences in the drive train? Other than the body, are there any unique or hard-to-find parts? How does the value/price compare to an M37 of similar condition? I assume ambulances never had winches, right? Thanks for any info you can provide.
