Jonas, I too would like to see that look. I remember way back on maybe forum 3 or 4 where Vintage said only black and brown headliners were made. I guess the gray leathery ones I have seen/owned over the years were repos??? Something was said about Henry Ford and black cars, anyone remember that one from that forum?

That being said, I have made my own parts before and it is difficult tedious work. They did not turn out perfect on the first try. Also, I made them for myself and did not look to sell them, if I did, I would be responsible for the quality. Other option, if you need a part, find one/have someone lend you one, make it yourself.

Someone commented on only costing time. I have been frustrated more than once by a PW vendor sending the wrong part. You plan ahead for time to do a project, order Monday so its there for the weekend. If its wrong, who cares if they pay the shipping, I just lost a weekend/day.

I appreciate VPW work in retrieving parts, being an excellent source. It is also frustrating to recieve a wrong part and lose time.
