Yes I had a similar problem when I ordered the front support for my winch. The first piece that they sent me had been mis-labeled and was for a later 251 setup verses the early 230 version. However, once noted Steve at Vintage Power Wagons took care of the problem very quickly. They sent me the correct one plus payed shipping to have the first one sent back. The second one was defective also, two holes were incorrectly placed by 1/4". Steve immediately took care of things and profusely appogized noting that they had had some problems with the vendor who was making these parts new for them. The only thing I lost was a little bit of time. They took care of everything else.
Are things perfect with VPW? No they never will be, like any other business. However, they have immediately taken care of any problems or questions that I have had. They have taken care of me and to me that is what is important. If your unhappy about something, take it to them first tell them about it and give them a chance to make things right. They have always come through for me.
