They took 3 inches from the short bed box, but the crew cab is much larger than just 3 " added to the quad cab. It may look small from the pictures because of the LARGE front doors, but I drove these trucks last year by special invitation, and they are sweet. The whole cab is bigger and the front end is more like the Power Wagon Concept truck than the old Ram. I'm already getting used to the look, because around here, Dodge is selling a lot of trucks. When the old Ram first came out it was love it or hate it. I think this time it appears to appeal to more of the 'mainstream' buyers. I see a lot of people buying Rams just to have a tough truck parked in their driveway. That's good for people who can't buy new, in a few years these work trucks will be on the used truck market and barely broke in!
