I have had rims stuck to drums before, and I just loosened the lug nuts and went for a SHORT drive, makking lots of turns at about 10-20 MPH.

But with a semi floating rear axle it might be a bit more dangerous, asif the drum does pop free it could score parts while you drive.

You tried a puller?

If heat, PB blaster, a puller, and a hammer have not gotten it off, I am at a loss as to what to tell you, that is why I like the full floating rear, all of my trucks are full floaters.

are you sure the shoes are backed in all the way?

Turn the starwheel until it is in all the way, you should be able to see this whith a light shined in the hole, and then take a screwdriver, and make sure the shoes are not stuck out. These trucks were used, and used hard, most folks did not remove the drums very often, and therfore the drums would get quite a ridge.

Once you have made sure the shoes are in as far as they come, then you can go back to pulling, heating, beating, and swearing.

Good luck!

Eric
