I have a 2500, 4x4, V10 with the Quad cab.
The truck has all the power you could want and pulls my Power Wagon on a Goosneck Trailer like it is not there.
However, it is terrible on fuel. In June I pulled my PW to the Iowa Rally. From New York (near canada) to Fairfield, IA it took 196 gallons of fuel. The return trip was 185 gallons. My total combination weight on a certified scale in Indianna was 17,760.
Go for a Diesel with Manual Tranny.
