It is a 99.99% probability that you have the Chrysler 8 3/4 rear end in your W-100. They have a tapered axle with a single square key in a groove down one side. The square hole should be visible with the nut off. If the "pre-heat and beat" with a wheel puller doesn't work, you can actually drill out the key as they are a very mild steel. Use a "never seize" when re assembling. You need to take care when heating as the axle is a tempered forging and if you anneal it by overheating it you will have junk. Put the heat into the hub, not the shaft, unless you like the idea of your wheel, tire, drum and a short, twisted off piece of axle shaft passing you on the freeway or driving off down the trail without you at some later date.
