In my WC10 it seems apparent the body was build around the dash. I ended up cutting the center out (where most holes were) and welding is a section sans holes. Cuts were made at the left end of the glove box and right end of the gauges to keep welds a minimum. I was very pleased. I have since ltried to patch holes on a WC12. I prefer replacemenmt.
