wondered about that, i would still call truck shop rebuilder, new process has a web site, ask dave c it is real gear head on t/c and stuff like this, prob $75 socket from OTC heck search otc tools, mac, snap on, etc, i bet otc still has ome new. Can you make one, you might also try a drilling shop where they rebuild transfer cases and have tools like that spec socket. I will bet same nut on some other med duty truck trans or transfer case, call sam winer ohio, adlemans, memphis eq, boyce eq ask for trans shop and if they sell socket nos or surplus or have the part number and source for it . Good luck you will find it close to you!!!!! Donot forgot tractor dealer?
