Hydraulic fluid in a 58 W100?

1958 W100s should have a manual clutch, not hydraulic.

Have you checked my website out?

If not take a look and make sure your truck is a 58:

If it is a 58, then most likely someone has swapped in a later motor and tranny.

But as for what it needs to fill the resevoir, regular(not synthetic) brake fluid is the correct stuff.

If your slave cylinder is leaking then you need to put in a rebuild kit, or a new slave cylinder. But if it is a 58, then it might be hard to figure out what has been swapped in.
