i installed a government rebuilt engine in my command car. all is working well. i am trying to diagnose a driveline noise and had a thought. did the military remove and not reinstall the pilot busing on their engines? the engine was rebuilt with all 12v accessories and a dodge bellhousing with clutch and pressure plate installed. i ASSumed the pilot bushing was there and im fairly sure it is, but what symptoms would it cause if it was not? wouldn't the clutch and pressure plate installation require a bushing for lining up purposes?? what other things could be causing my noisy driveline. its noisy (a hollow sound) mostly when the vehicle is coasting at speed. thanks mannyc
