Here are the parts in assembly order:
Socket - Inserted with cup facing steering arm (pitman) ball. Then install on steering arm. Insert next socket with cup facing steering ball.
Spring - Inserted next.
Bumper - It has a round flat surface on one end and a round shaft on the other side (looks like a "T" from the side. The shaft end is inserted first in the drag link tube inside spring.
Plug - Has threads and slots on one side. Slots face out side of tube so you can use a plug socket or large screwdrive to turn it.
Adjustment - Turn in plug until stopped, then back out to first slot wire hole in drag link tube (as you turn in the screw wobble the tube side-to-side to make sure socket cups seat on ball). Put wire into holes and lock by tapping into plug's round slot.
Before you do the above, make sure you have your dust cover (leather and metal strap cover) up out of the way on steering arm before you attach the drag link.
