Well you obviously have all the answers........Its no wonder you werent popular on the ramcharger central website. I guess we'll all have to put up with you bad mouthing everyones other trucks and listen to you talk down to those who havent got a flat fender. Sorry about all this Joe but I got a little bent out of shape reading the other posts. But remember if you delete this this tread you'll be labeled part of the mod squad by Brushbuster!

Bottom line is Dodge builds great trucks. They started with the WC's of WWII, they adapted change in 1946 to start the flat fender which was built for work building the country. A multi purpose vehicle acting as both truck and tractor for the farm and in construction building the country.

Power Giant and Sweptline era trucks came around as America changed.......more people living in town. Lifestyle era trucks of the 70's allowed people to haul campers and travel as life got easier then it was 30 years ago. They are all great in the ways they were designed for. Flatfenders hauling loads in rough conditions. Your W100 confortably hauling you and wife down a snowy road. My D200 hauling a big travel trailer on the interstate seeing the country (Or better yet hauling my flat fender to the Rally!).

I'd like to see VPW and the other companys that cater to the flat fender crowd think about expanding into the 70's trucks. As time goes on these trucks are getting older. They will require a surplus of parts. We already know flat fender stuff is hard to come by! In fact right now this very minute I can buy a flat fender bed but I have no idea where to locate a good bed for my 74 D200.

On a lighter note.......I went to a car show last night in the park. Tons of nice cars everywhere. There were 3 Mopars in the whole place. My 71 Charger, a 74 Newport and a 30's Plymouth. No Dodge Trucks to speak of! Plenty of Ford and Chevy cars and trucks!
We all need to stick together in this hobby and make it great!

Todd
