That "Badge Center" is the Star of David. You see, ...the Dodge Brothers were Jews, (sorry Hitler, their WC's, Sherman Tanks and later to be Jeeps kicked your butt!) Sort of poetic justice Hey!?
The Dodge Brothers emblem was still used on the VIN ID plate as late as 1950-51 Pilot House trucks. Eric, what is on your Power Giant and V-8 Era trucks? The Ram hood ornament also made it until at least 1950-51.
