Any chance you could post pics of your bellhousing t/o set up, i never could find the giant bellhousing for truck down here so i ordered a blank lakewood, guess what no fit! The throw out assembly i am trying to use is thrown off by the darn spicer 3053a i am trying to install on too little of a bellhousing, the milatary set up will not work inside the small bellhousing, called Boyce but said nla, called others same thing, guess i am going to figure out somehow a hydralyic t/o with master cylinder. Does your 440 have same bearing as 360 318 in crankshaft, is it drilled for crankshaft? Ever see any od units for the 540 or parts to convert one, strouse has one but i could not find od 5 gear to convert it yours is direct right? Thanks james!I wonder if i could take a 1/2 onch drill and drill the crank out without killing myself in the wrap uped cord if it hangs, did a 383 about 20 years ago, now????
