I have a large piece of rubber belting from a conveyor belt used in a stone quarry. Its 1.0" thick and super tough, yet not hard. Its so tough a 14" band saw snorts. Makes great mounts and all other kinds of isolation bushings. I bet even Large grain conveyor Belts would work. The stone quarry had many pieces laying around and told to take what I needed.
