Boys and girls, some of you puzzle me. I see stuff in here all the time like "need frammisbuckle, pass. side, jnsnbr bush." and replies to messages and questions like "...in '57 was 4.34..." as the entire post to the group and I wonder; "Is this person having to pay by the word to post messages or are they an old western-onion employee (*STOP*)?"
The flip side to this is those who post as though their house is on fire and the babies are screaming while they are typing:
"gonnapostinfoonbrkshassoonasthef.d.leavesthepowercomesbackonandH20stopsrunnintonmykb" with an assortment of abbreviations thrown in, no punctuation and no translator to explain what the hell "brksh" or "kb" is (broken shishkebabs, perhaps?).
I try to help out as much as I can with my years of experience and two remaining braincells, but some of you just leave me agape trying to figure out WHATINHELL ya are trying to say. It would seem to me that we'd have much better luck if we posted in here like we talk in real life, no(and I would hope that the above examples are NOT how you talk in rela life)? The forum is FREE, the letters and punctuation are FREE, so please use FREELY. You are a great bunch of throwbacks (which means I feel at home here) but really folks, we need to work on our communications skills before we get to "Urgh want prt. 4 bigrustytruck..NOW!"
I figure I'll get sniped at for this, but "oh well" Fire away...
