Cann't tell you what a W500 will pull, but I do know that back in the 70's my grandfather bought a 46 WDX to move his tractors w/mowers. Saved on wear and tear on the tractors by not driving them all around the county. My grandfather used a Ford 2000 series tractor with a rear pto powered mower for cutting lots. Trailer was a homemade tandom axle trailer. Considering the way my uncle and grandfather made things, the trailer alone must of weighted around 2500 to 3000#'s. It used a pintle hitch instead of a ball hitch. Had electric brakes to. It wasn't fast, but the old WDX sure pulled the load. Robert
