I would like to know if there is any way of telling if the ID plate on my civilian power wagon is the correct one for my vehicle by comparing it with the number on the chasis frame. The number on the ID plate is 83945418 which according to my dodge power wagon history book means it belongs to a 1956 B3PW and the ID plate also states it is a B3PW6-126 with a gross weight of 9500 pounds . The chasis frame number is AD5387-/31BDON101860 . Can this number be decifered to tell me anything about my vehicle? Thank you in advance for any assistance.
