has a kit for $75.00 Mike Fleig demonstrated the basics of how to clean the YEKPTOOEY out of the crack and so forth. Fairly straightforward. The new strip should be held in with rivits, unless you have hands like David Copperfield.
No reason you couldn't make a new strip yourself though.
