Does anyone out there know if the headlight assemblies on a PW are interchangable with any other year/model of Dodge truck? It looks like the lights on 1939+40 trucks are almost the same, but have the parking lamps on top. I've been thinking about putting a set of them on the PW,and using the park lamps as signal lights, but would like to find out if they'll fit before I hunt down a set. (yeah, I KNOW it is not original, but the rest of the general population Doesn't)
The steel yard in town just bought a new "Heavy Duty" chev 1 ton(?) truck that appears to have wheels that, I think, may fit a PW. The tires I believe are 17.5's, and the rims have a large centre hole with a 10 hole bolt pattern. I noticed them because the chev front hubs only run 5 studs, and end up looking the same as the PW pattern. Any ideas?? Thanks J.V.L.
