There are a couple of alternatives. One, that sounds expensive, but may well be cheaper in the long run, (and certainly the easiest) is to replace the bulbs in the system with 24V equivalents. They can be expensive, but theoretically last longer, and, let's face it, rarely do we replace any vehicle bulbs. This is basically what I did when I added turn signals and upgraded the stop/tail lights in my M-37.

Another alternative is to purchase a converter that drops 24V to 12V. I know they are out there, and suspect there are plenty to choose from. This would be nice in that it would allow you a circuit to run other 12V accessories.

You could also run a direct circuit from your first battery to power your 12V equipment. I am not sure about this method, as I suspect you would be asking for trouble with your charging system. Check with Alan Bowes, or someone else who knows a lot about this, if you are thinking of going this route.
