As near as I can measure (with one person) it looks like a Dana 60 from a 75 Dodge Pickup - I don't know if it was original equipment - can bolt right into the back of a '47 Power Wagon. Is it possible that the pad to pad width hadn't changed in almost 30 years or will I find out that the Dana 60 is actually off by an inch or so?
Behind all that grease on the original rear end it looks like the rest of the lug and hub assembly (I don't know what else to call it) actually bolted on to the backing plate on the orginal '47 PW rear end. Is that true?
