Here's what's emerging on a Mid-Atlantic Gathering (truck show/swap meet/trail rides)of Power Wagon owners and enthusiasts. First, there is plenty of interest from this page alone to expect a favorable turnout.
We will try to find a location that is agreeable to the majority. Baltimore, Maryland or the PA/WV/MD border region have been suggested as possible locations. Someone has also suggested tying-in with the regional meet of the Antique Truck Club (held in Scottdale, PA in September). However, I think there's enough interest for a PW or Dodge only type event. I am looking into lodging, camping, and trail access in my area, and John is looking into his area as well. Either way we can't loose. Good people, great trucks, and lots of stories to share.
Meanwhile, we are recruiting knowledgeable persons experienced in rig revival to go after some neglected beauties hereabouts. As always, we'll keep you posted as things develop...
