The original pipe is connected to the tank with a short piece of hose that is clamped. The neck comes out and up in a ronded angle about 90 degrees. and the fuel tank lid is a standard auto-parts gas cap. The od is about 2 1/2 ". Get a reprint of a parts manual from vintage power wagons it show a picture.
