anyone ever install a ladder rack on an m37. one of the biggest drawbacks of the truck is the short bed. i am looking to build a ladder rack to haul lumber, canoes, pipe, etc. i'd like to have it be removable via recangular tube / pins. i think that i will plan on making it taller than the top bows so that i can use it with the canvas on. i dont want to use the stake body pockets as i have and want to keep the troop seats in the truck. i figure that i can build the middle support off of the frame between the cab and bed with square tube welded to plate bolted to the frame. i then could slip in the vertical uprights and then have a slip fitting connecting the sides with a tubular middle tube. any suggestions on the front & rear? thanks.
