In a way, they are allready doing what you ask for. US body makes the cab and various parts out of Fiberglass. The problem is they cost more than what you can get a parts truck for. It would be hard to justify spending more to get less, if you will. I do agree that a hack job is a nasty thing to witness. I personally don't have problems with conversions when thought out and done right. I saw a hemi put in one once that the 2 main tools used were a hammer and torch. Sad to see. Like others have said, It's the owners choice and varity keeps it interesting. Kevin
