in arizona, you just have to have any a bill of sale and AZ MVD checks the title thru NCIC for stolen. then MVD inspects it and you go to any insurance agent and for $50,( more if it's newer), they bond your title. meansd if anyone tries to claim it for 5 years, ins company steps in. never ahppens but it gets a clean title. must be arizona resident or have a friend there.
