cool nights, sunny days, could've used a little rain to keep the dust down and perhaps augment the mud.

95 trucks registered for the parade, I think I heard the final total was 105 or so. The sixth truck from the rear was still parked and idling at the fairgrounds when the first truck pulled into the square.

Great variety of trucks - a "90 Day Wonder" brought in by Neal Curtis - an M601 with a complete frame off done in 7 weeks. The folks at Vintage didn't believe it was the same truck he bought from them. Gus made his usual appearance as did BOB's from New Jersey. There was a Civi with a HEMI shoe-horned in painted BRIGHT IRIDESCENT GREEEN & black and a stainless steel flatbed on a Suburban chasis with air conditioning. The overall winner though was an immaculate stock W100 townie that was trailerd in from California. The flatfender civi winner was a first time attendeee from Minnesota.

Lots of discussion of an overdrive unit installed on a flatfender and a tool made by an intense fella from Indianapolis with an M-37.

M-37's aplenty. Interesting doings down by the crick with two fairly recent civi trucks with loooooooong wheel bases fairing quite well. Kids in the crew cab of one bounced around like bowling pins as they dug out of a hole.

Gordon Maney had a good presentation/speech about the perils of Power Wagon Ownership and the strain on marital bliss as well as a fairly hefty STOP AND PONDER point...

After a somewhat raunchy roast celebrating the 50th anniversary of Dave Butler's birth, Mr Butler gave a "slide" presentation of his trip to Thailand which was intersting, impressive, somewhat humbling and worthy of rumination....

My first year of many (God Willing) and all I can say is...

Not Enough Days, Not Enough Time!
