The Glenwood Springs fire is the "Coalseam" fire caused by underground coal which has been smoldering for over 100 years. This fire covers less acreage but more structures have been lost due to a more populated area.
We're along the front range watching the "Hayman" fire (started by an illegal campfire) which has so far been mostly in Pike Natl. Forest but is moving NE toward rural populated areas west of Denver. These should both be on national news coverage by now.
