Hey JYD, I think that "regret" has played at least a small part at some point in just about every project I've ever worked on. It took us over 4 years to build our house and we lived in it the whole time. I had a lot of bad days.
My '53 B4 isn't scattered around quite as much as yours is yet, but its in the garage and torn down to the point that it needs a lot of work to run again. Just keep visualizing the finished product and using this Forum for moral support!
I'll give you another sad picture: All day today we've been watching what has become a 26,000 acre wildfire. It started 15 miles due west of us. Winds from the SW have pushed it across our view to a point where its front is now about 15 miles due north of us. Evacuees are from as close as 7 miles away. The smoke plume is huge. Unless the winds change, we should be safe. I'm sure that "fletch" & "Dan in CO" have had a smokey day from their location too.
There's been fires all over CO this year. If we have to evacuate at any point, I'll have to leave the PW in the garage and drive away. There's been a lot of sad pictures in the news of properties lost in recent fires many with no insurance. Luckily no deaths and few injuries in our area. Bruce
