Raise your hand If you have seen the dodge promo video from Vintage Power Wagons... For me it's not Just about the truck its the time period which it came from. Somebody once said that the GI's fighting in the Ardennes Forrest during the battle of the bulge didn't know that you cant start a vehicle in the cold with a 6 volt system. But they did, and we owe our freedom to it. Next time your truck won't start or won't get you there fast enough, and you go you think about conversions just be thankful your not surrounded by Germans ducking 88 mm shells.
Its your truck and you can do what you want with it, and more power to you for preserving this old iron in any form. But I feel as though I am being disrespectful of my elders when I go redesigning their masterpiece.
