for '67 (which would remain unchanged until about '72), the 413-2 truck engine (two barrel)was:
4.188 X 3.75 (bore and stroke, same crank/stroke as the 440)
7.5:1 compression ratio
200HP@3600 RPM (horsepower)
362FP@2000 RPM (torque)
normal oil pressure 0f 50-60 lbs
413-3 (four barrel) was:
same bore and stroke
same compression ratio
205HP@ 3600 RPM (horsepower)
380FP@ 2000 RPM (torque)
The truck 383 that year shows the following specs:
4.28 X 3.38 (bore and stroke)
258HP@4400 RPM (horsepower)
375FP@2800 RPM (torque)
9.2:1 compression ratio.

As you can see the 383 is actually comparable in torque and higher in horsepower, but both come in at a higher RPM.
With the typical PW gearing either would work and these things hit 2800 RPM before they are even rolling. Where you will notice the difference is pulling a heavy load from a stop. there the 413's BOTH have it over the 383.
The low compression is what drags the horsepower down on these engines and the truck/motorhome heads are a BITCH to find. If I am not mistaken the regular car 383/440 head will bolt right on.

The regular car 413 is the one with the 10:1 ratio and 350 HP and the 413 Max Wedge was the 13.5:1
